How to Do Laundry with Pine-Sol

Steps
Follow these easy steps on laundry day for extra cleaning and deodorizing power.
Step 1
Sort laundry. While Pine-Sol™ Multi-Surface Cleaner can be used on whites and colors, you’ll still want to separate your fabrics as you usually do.
Step 2
Load machine and add your regular detergent as directed.
Step 3
For extra cleaning and deodorizing power, add ¼ cup of Pine-Sol Multi-Surface Cleaner to the detergent compartment of your machine. Do not add directly to drum.
Step 4
Machine wash and dry according to fabric directions. Do not use Pine-Sol Multi-Surface Cleaner full strength directly on fabrics.

Is it safe to put Pine-Sol in laundry?
Generally yes, but here are a few things to keep in mind: Pine-Sol™ Multi-Surface Cleaner is recommended for colorfast items only. If you are unsure if your fabric is colorfast, apply a drop of product to a hidden part of the item (be sure to test all colors). Wait 5 minutes, then rinse with water. Allow the item to dry completely and check for a color change. No loss of color means the item can be safely laundered with Pine-Sol.
